Great Wraps focusing on second-tier markets

Thursday, April 30, 2015

After finding success with second-tier markets, Great Wraps Grill has decided to keep its franchising focus there, CEO Mark Kaplan, said in a company press release.

"We've found that there is a great demand for fast casual restaurants that offer flavorful, healthy food in these markets," he said. "We have the ideal opportunity to fulfill these demands by offering an alternative to conventional fast food with our chef-created menu that features hot-off-the-grill wraps, hearty bowls and fresh salads. We are looking forward to becoming a part of these local communities and are dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience to each guest every time." As part of this national strategy, one of Great Wraps Grill's first targets for expansion is Pensacola, Florida. The chain is seeking franchise partners in the area and is hosting Discovery Days for potential local franchisees on Thursday, May 7, and Friday, May 8.

"In order to meet consumer demand, venues in cities including Pensacola, Forida, are seeking restaurant concepts that have proven success in prime locations including malls and shopping centers," Kaplan said. "We've placed our focus on these markets because we believe that with our healthy menu, innovative restaurant design and flexible footprint, Great Wraps Grill has the unique opportunity to excel in these areas."
