Right on time a few months before Apple's big September event, photos have leaked that show what the iPhone 6 could look like and what makes it different from other devices on the market. The thing we noticed first was the all-metal casing. Literally, every angle and every photo shows a metal case. This could mean increased durability for iPhones that don't break as easily and can withstand a little more rough and tough behavior than normal.
Users were hoping for a dual-lens camera in the iPhone 6S However experts say that the most important aspect of these photos is what they show about the internal workings of the device. For example, the mounting points inside the case show where the panels and boards will be placed. These mounting points are different than any current version of an Apple smartphone. This could be a sign that improved technology is being added into these phones or that more complex logic boards could be a part of the design.
Experts and users were hoping for a dual-lens camera in the iPhone 6S. The acquisition of LinX by Apple had rumors growing that a better camera was on the way. Unfortunately the leaked photos seem to say otherwise. The camera cutouts of the metal framing are identical the camera cutouts featured on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, neither of which offer a dual-lens camera. This could be quite a disappointment for customers that dabble in photography and are looking for camera-specific improvements.
In addition, the leaked photos show the speakers at the bottom of the device and the charging port are exactly the same as current iPhone 6 smartphones. This is great news for customers that are happy with the sound quality of their current model and also don't want to purchase all new chargers if and when they purchase the iPhone 6S after its official release. While these leaked photos don't provide a total insight into the iPhone 6S, they're a good place to start for eager consumers.
We won't know for sure what Apple has up its sleeve for the iPhone 6S until September. Until then we can only speculate and wait for more leaked information about this new smartphone. The introduction of this device isn't expected to be an ornate or exciting as the Apple Watch, but it is a new device nonetheless with improved exterior elements and interior functionality. Apple lovers across the globe have only two months left until they get to see the company's newest product and all it have to offer individuals and professionals alike.
