BeBalanced to open its first franchise in Dauphin County

BeBalnced, a Lancaster-based wellness company has started to franchise its idea, and the first one is set to open near Harrisburg.

BeBalanced Hormone Weight Loss Centers has opened its first franchise location in Lower Paxton Township, with a grand opening scheduled for Saturday.

Company owner Dawn Cutillo, writer of the book "The Hormone Shift," opened what is now BeBalanced in 2007 as a holistic weight loss center that addresses stress and its effects on the body, including the inability to lose weight.

Franchise location owner Paget Keller Rhee lost 50 pounds on the program and, with her brother and father, decided to invest in opening a franchise at 4813 Jonestown Road, Suite 105, in Olde Liberty Square.

A franchise fee for the company is $39,000, with a total investment of about $100,000, according to the company. The Kellers plan to open other franchises as well.
