Young Siblings Expand Growing Franchise Portfolio

Norwich-based sister and brothers Romina, Lorenzo and Luca La Bella, have expanded their growing franchise portfolio in the region with the inclusion of up-and-coming British quick service restaurant, Southern Fried Chicken (SFC).

The siblings, all in their 20s, have invested in excess of �200,000 into SFC which recently underwent a major brand revamp following its managing director's appearance on Channel 4's Undercover Boss.

The La Bella family, who already own six businesses in Norwich, including Papa Johns and Subway, will be the first to bring the revamped SFC brand to the region and simultaneously support British chicken farmers.

The new franchise, which opened this month, will be the first of its kind in Norwich and will fall under the siblings' umbrella company.

The La Bella family chose to invest in Southern Fried Chicken after identifying a gap in the market for quick-service restaurant that offers locally reared and sourced poultry. The business also differs from its competitors in that it prepares all its food freshly on the premises and does not use reconstituted chicken meat in any of its products.

Commenting on the expanding portfolio of businesses, Luca La Bella said: "We are delighted to be taking on SFC as part of our expanding business portfolio. Our experience in the quick service industry will compliment this new venture as we look to turn the business into a success.
