Public Mobile on Store Shelves at Loblaw; Ultramar; and Eyeshot Media

For customers, it's never been easier or more affordable to buy a cell phone. Public Mobile is bringing its brand to people in the places they already shop in grocery and convenience stores.

In addition to Gateway Newstand, Public Mobile has partnered with 3 major retailers in Ontario and Quebec including Loblaw, Ultramar and Eyeshot Media convenience stores.

Never have Canadians had so many choices in choosing a cell phone company, said Alek Krstajic, CEO of Public Mobile. Distribution is key and we feel that working with these companies provides us with consistency and a chance to know that our services are being offered in the same places where our customers live, work and play, added Krstajic.

Public Mobile is now on Loblaw store shelves as Loblaw re-launches its wireless business, The Mobile ShopTM. The in-store, self serve endcaps at Loblaw and its related stores will feature several wireless brands, including Public Mobile. Customers will be able to select from one of three Public Mobile handsets for use with Public Mobile's $24 unlimited talk plan. Loblaw related stores that will also carry Public Mobile include Fortinos, Real Canadian Superstore, Maxi, Maxi et Cie and Provigo.

Public Mobile has also signed an exclusive trial agreement with Ultramar Ltee/ Depanneur du Coin locations in Montreal that will begin in the next several weeks. Five Ultramar corner stores are involved in the trial. These stores provide full service Public Mobile stores inside the Ultramar stores, allowing customers to buy a phone and a plan.

Broad Distribution The latest distribution deals add to Public Mobile's rapidly expanding locations. Just last month, Gateway Newstand, found in many Toronto subway stations, began selling Public Mobile phones and allowing customers to pay their bills at select Gateway locations. The Gateway stores have been co-branded with Public Mobile signs and also provide Public Mobile services.
