Marple-based Swiss Farms Awards First Montgomery County Franchise

Swiss Farms, America's Drive-Thru Grocer, with a large presence in Delaware County has awarded its first franchise in Montgomery County. "Swiss Farms has been successfully operating Drive-Thru Grocers in Delaware County since 1968. And we have experienced accelerated growth even in this economy. It only makes sense that we now expand to neighboring Montgomery County where many consumers such as Liz and Joe Dempsey are already familiar with the brand," says Rocco Fiorentino, President of Swiss Farms Franchise Co.

"We are excited about our partnership with Swiss Farms, the success of their unique grocery drive-thru concept, and the comprehensive support system they have in place to help enable our success here in Montgomery County," stated Joe Dempsey The Dempseys are currently multi-unit franchisees of Rita's Ice Franchise and Philly Soft Pretzels. Their City Line Ave. Rita's store consistently ranks in the top five in the entire chain of 600+ units. Joe and Liz have won numerous sales and customer satisfaction awards from Rita's. Liz & Joe are also equity partners in five Philadelphia Soft Pretzel Factories franchises. One of their stores is the second highest grossing store in chain of 150 units.
