Knuckleheads gym is an affordable membership based "drop off" gym that combines the technology of video games and plasma TV's with sports equipment designed specifically for kids. From the non-athlete to the extremely athletic child, personal trainers incorporate their expertise in staying fit with high energy fun that kids can't get enough of. From Saturday night "Kid's Night Out" to awesome birthday parties, not only do kids leave Knuckleheads sweaty, happy and wanting to come back, they more importantly build self-esteem.
Knuckleheads gym is open Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays are reserved for birthday parties and team training. Knuckleheads offers monthly memberships for kids ages 5 to 14. It provides personal training customized for sport specific athletes, kids looking to get into better shape or those who just want to have fun. Knuckleheads also offers special classes for kids with special needs. For the younger generation, mommy and me as well as grandma and me sessions offer free training for mom or grandma while their child has supervised fun in the gym. One day passes are available for kids to try out the gym for the first time. Private parties are offered to members as well as non-members based on availability.
Richard Ariesowner of a commercial brokerage companyenvisioned a place where kids could go to have fun and get exercise in a kid friendly atmosphere. "Childhood obesity has become a real problem today. When I grew up," stated Aries, "kids were more active; always playing outside.
With the onset of the video game revolution, kids became more sedentary and weight became more of an issue than ever before." After extensive research Rich found incredibly fun & unique equipment that could be designed for kids without the risk of injury. Rich partnered with Sam Aronow, whose sales & marketing expertise has catapulted Knuckleheads into what is quickly becoming synonymous with kids fitness and fun.
"It is our goal," says Aronow, "to open 20 more gyms within the next year nationwide."
