World Inspection Network - "win" Home Inspection Unveils New Look

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON | Wednesday, February 15, 2006

World Inspection Network (WIN) announced that it has adopted a new brand name, "WIN Home Inspection," unveiling a new look that resulted from brand development program undertaken in 2005.

"We conducted extensive market research to better understand the needs of real estate professionals and our mutual clients," said Tracy Adams, VP of Brand Management. "In the course of that market study we came to realize that we were known by two names, ‘World Inspection Network' and the acronym ‘WIN'. Many of the real estate professionals we work with, clients and staff already called us ‘WIN' so this change was simply recognition of that fact." The company's strategy recalls a host of other successful companies whose brands have evolved from their original form, including UPS, IBM, FedEx, AT&T, KFC and HP.

"The fundamentals of our business are effective communications, consistency and high standards in both the technical and customer service skills of our inspectors," said Adams. "This change recognizes the value we place in being more consistent and effective in the way we communicate the clear difference that a WIN home inspection provides." "As one of the nation's fastest-growing home inspection franchises, we realized that the logistics of this change would be far less now, than waiting several years down the road." The brand's changes will not be restricted to the name and logo alone. To further communicate the brand's position of difference, the tagline "We see more. Clearly." will be incorporated into the company's communications programs. "Home buyers are making one of the most important decisions of their lives," said DeMarco. "WIN's ability to provide the most accurate and complete inspection helps them know and understand their new home more clearly. Real estate professionals want information to be presented clearly and in appropriate context, to help their clients make the best decisions. We see the big picture." The brand program is supported nationally with newly designed vehicles, service uniforms, and a trade advertising campaign, print marketing materials, and Web site.
