The Harris' look forward to bringing the Tilden name which has a 75 year quality reputation in the automotive service industry, providing complete automotive service and repairs throughout the country, to the Southern California market. Tilden Car Care Centers had been started as a family enterprise in 1923 by the Tilden Family of Long Island, N.Y. As business grew, the family offered franchise opportunities to dedicated employees. Now Tilden is expanding nationally, both by acquisitions and through franchises, thus far establishing 60 car care centers in 11 states.
