National Home Buyers Assistance Master Franchise For Colorado Awarded To Wellington Web

DENVER, COLORADO | Tuesday, November 29, 2005

Daniel Siedlecki, President of National Home Buyers Assistance (NHBA), announced today that a group headed by former three term mayor of Denver, Colorado, Wellington Webb, has been awarded the NHBA Colorado Master Franchise. It is the seventh Master Franchise awarded nationally by the company. Denver-based NHBA is a national franchisor of a real estate investment business. The franchise is dedicated to helping credit challenged individuals acquire the home of their choice through a unique lease to own program. "The most important investment most people make in their life is the purchase of their new home, "Webb stated following the announcement. "For individuals to achieve home ownership has always been important to me. I'm proud that NHBA can help families achieve home ownership." Webb has been a member of the NHBA Advisory Board for two years. The NHBA Advisory Board also includes former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Henry Cisneros.

National Home Buyers Assistance began franchise operations in 2003 after test marketing and fine-tuning their alternative financing concept for over two years in Colorado and Florida. The company currently has 105 franchisees in 27 states as well as 7 master franchisees in 6 states, including Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Missouri. As the Master Franchise for Colorado, Webb's group will be charged with new franchise development as well as supporting for the state's current 27 NHBA franchisees. To date, NHBA has generated over $400 million dollars in real estate sales nationally.

After being accepted into the program, clients are given the opportunity to choose a home from the open market, either new or existing housing. The NHBA franchisee will then purchase the home of the client's choice to help the client own the home within a specific period of time at a pre-determined price. The leases and option to buy are custom-designed to meet the individual client's set of circumstances and the term of the lease usually runs from 12 to 36 months. While the client is living in the home of their choice during this lease period, the client has the time and guidance to repair their credit or correct the circumstances that had been preventing them from acquiring their own financing.

The client may also receive up to 50% of their rent payments credited back to them towards the purchase of the home at the end of the lease. NHBA outlines a strategy designed to raise their client's credit scores during the period of the lease at the onset, approving them for an option to purchase the home based on what their credit picture will look like at the end of the lease.

National Home Buyers Assistance has been ranked the 5th fastest growing real estate related franchisor in the country, according to a recent survey by Entrepreneur Magazine.
