The impressive, � 120 million, brand new 4-star deluxe hotel opened for business on April 14, 2005 and is guaranteed to breathe new life into London's corporate and leisure hotel sector. Riverbank Park Plaza, the newest hotel to be opened by Park Plaza Hotels Europe, is a stunning contemporary new-build hotel overlooking the river Thames with 394 spacious guestrooms and a wealth of state-of-the-art amenities. Every one of the superior and executive rooms and suites comes with first-class facilities such as flat screen televisions, CD/DVD players, high-speed wireless internet and stunning en-suite bathroom with bath and separate walk-in power shower. A number of rooms also have fantastic views across the river towards the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye Observation Wheel. Riverbank Park Plaza also houses the award-winning Chino Latino Brasserie, Bar and Lounge, headed by Shinji Nakamura, formerly with Nobu and Tsunami. Already an immensely popular and successful concept in Park Plaza Hotels in both Nottingham and Leeds, Chino Latino is a modern upmarket concept serving sumptuous Asian cuisine alongside a selection of Mediterranean favourites. The opening of Riverbank Park Plaza coincides this year with the recent opening of Park Plaza Cardiff in February 2005. Park Plaza Belfast - the first Ireland franchise hotel for Park Plaza Hotels Europe - also opened in November last year.
