"Time is important to our customers; to be able to offer all of these products and services under one roof is an immediate benefit," said Ziebart president and chairman, Thomas E. Wolfe. "Ziebart International is committed to expanding its offerings beyond the traditional scope of automotive aftermarket accessories and services, to better serve our customers." Ziebart is the world's largest automotive aftermarket accessories installer. By adding Speedy Auto Glass and Rhino Linings, both industry leaders, Ziebart is further solidifying its position as the industry leader in car care solutions. The combination of these three brands may revolutionize the industry.
According to the International Franchise Association (IFA), co-branding is becoming more frequent. Co-branding lowers costs on all sides, leading to higher company profits and more capital available to expand services. Synergy plays a vital role in determining which companies would make successful co-brands. This marks the first co-branding agreement in the automotive aftermarket industry.
"Speedy Auto Glass and Rhino Linings are industry leaders, and play well into our philosophy of providing quality service to each and every customer," said Wolfe. "The combination of these three brands may revolutionize the industry." Ziebart, Speedy and Rhino will effectively integrate their products and services into each other's store networks. Ziebart will carry a full line of Speedy glass and Rhino products, and Ziebart technicians will be specially trained in installation and services. Likewise, Ziebart products and services, including window tint and paint protection, will be folded into existing Speedy and Rhino stores.
Many Ziebart stores have already begun to integrate Speedy Auto Glass and Rhino Linings into their product offerings. Those that are fully integrated have seen more increases in store traffic and retail sales. Currently, there are 45 Ziebart stores with all three brands.
Ziebart has more than 40 years experience enhancing and maintaining the interior and exterior of cars and trucks. Its services include professional detailing; paint and fabric protection; rust protection; window tint; electronic systems; and an array of other accessories, particularly for trucks, such as spray-on bedliners and running boards.
Speedy Auto Glass is one of North America's largest installers of automotive glass. Speedy provides automotive glass replacement and repair services through strategically located retail branches across the United States and Canada. Ziebart and Speedy conceived a co-branding arrangement in November 1998, and have rolled out 89 stores encompassing both Ziebart and Speedy products and services.
For more than 10 years, Rhino Linings' Tuff Stuff polyurethane has been providing vehicles with a thick layer of protection. The unique flexible and textured surface reduces cargo slippage and will not crack, warp or peel even under temperature extremes. Sprayed up to one-quarter-inch thick, Rhino Linings polyurethane forms a permanent air and watertight seal that prevents rust and corrosion. Rhino Linings is the worldwide leader in sprayed-on polyurethane linings for truck beds, trailers, boats and RV's. There are currently 71 stores that encompass both Ziebart and Rhino products and services.
